3rd International Mediation Competition (Virtual) 2023: Register by 24th November 2023

Eligibility Criteria and Procedure for Registration
Eligibility for the competition extends to both full-time and part-time law students. Contestants may initiate their provisional registration via the official website https://lexerudites.com/imc-v- 2023/ , with the deadline set for November 24, 2023.

Objectives
Widen the appreciation of mediation beyond the consideration of it as a mere alternative to legal proceedings.
To help students become habituated with the procedures of mediation.
Provide students a chance to encounter kindred individuals from around the world.
Help overcome the obstacles in the course of a virtual mediation competition.
To equip you with basic Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism skills.
Help you in building cooperation and synergy to work as a team.
Fee Structure
Both Indian and International students are welcome to participate in the competition. The fee structure for Indian Teams is INR 2500, and for the International, Teams is $50.

Prizes and Certificates:
Winners: The winning team will be awarded with a cash prize along with a momento and a certificate of merit.
Best Mediator: The Best Mediator will be awarded a cash prize, memento along with a certificate of merit.
Runners-up (Team): Runners-up will be awarded with a cash prize, memento and a certificate of credit.
Participants: A certificate of participation (E-copies) will be issued to the teams competing in both rounds of the preliminary stage.

Commencement of provisional registration: 12th October 2023
Registration Closes on: 24th November 2023
Releasing of Case Scenario: 72 Hours Prior to the Preliminary Round
Workshop on Mediation (Exclusively for the Participants): 01st December 2023
Preliminary Rounds 1 & 2: 02nd December 2023
Semi-Finals and Finals: 03rd December 2023
